Class Policies
ATTENDANCE POLICY
The minimum class size is 5 students. Williamsburg Ballet Studio reserves the right to postpone or cancel a class if less than 5 students register for a class. A full refund will be remitted in the event that this happens.
All students are entitled to one make-up class per semester. This make-up class is included in the class rate. Students may make up missed classes by participating in one of the other regularly scheduled classes or by attending an at-large make-up class if there is a need for one.
PAYMENT POLICY
Payment must be remitted in full prior to or on the first day of class. If payment is not received prior to or on the first day of class, the student may not participate. Cancellations must be made one month in advance of the semester start date in order to receive a full refund. Williamsburg Ballet Studio accepts checks made out to Williamsburg Ballet Studio.
REGISTRATION
A registration form must be completed by a parent and submitted prior to or on the first day of class. A new form is required at the start of each new semester.
DRESS CODE
Girls: black leotard, ballet pink tights and ballet pink shoes (canvas or leather). Hair must be pulled back in a bun.
Boys: black shorts, white t-shirt, black ballet shoes (canvas or leather).
COVID-19
Williamsburg Ballet Studio will adhere to the CDC Guidelines for children attending schools. WBS acknowledges that these guidelines may change and will make amendments to the WBS Covid-19 policy as and when needed.
As of July 9, 2021, the CDC “recommends universal indoor masking for all teachers, staff, students, and visitors to K-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status”. As such, masks will be required at all times.
